Media Briefing: High Ambition Coalition working group leaders to discuss commitments for a green and resilient recovery

Members of the High Ambition Coalition (HAC) are launching a raft of economic and environmental commitments to set the bar on the recovery from COVID-19. The Statement on a Resilient Recovery sets targets for green recovery spending, actions to ensure that developing countries can build back better, and commitments to set its members on course for alignment with the aims of the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Leaders from the High Ambition Coalition’s Green Recovery Working Group will be available to brief the media on the statement and respond to questions from reporters, ahead of the Finance in Common Summit. This will include Climate Envoy of the Republic of the Marshall Islands Tina Stege, Climate Envoy of the Netherlands Marcel Beukeboom and Advisor to the Climate Change Directorate of Costa Rica Agripina Jenkins Rojas.
